2018 Sequels that I'm the Most Excited For

There are so many great books out there, but here are a few sequels that I am biting my fingernails to read (NO SPOILERS):

Book Three in the Frost Blood saga. If you haven't read the first two yet: Frostblood and Fireblood, you should. Ruby is a strong and sassy fire-wielding heroine. Arcus is a master of frost. Their fantasy world is original, interesting, and with plenty of twists. Nightblood comes out August 21, 2018 and I have already pre-ordered it!

Book Three in the A Kingdom on Fire series. Historical fantasy at it's best. It's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE meets a very dark HARRY POTTER. Coming out on October 16, 2018.

BOOK TWO in the Traitor's Trilogy. Sage Fowler doesn't want to be matched by a matchmaker in book one, so instead she becomes the matchmaker's apprentice and gets caught in an conspiracy to overthrow her kingdom. Set in an alternative historical world there's plenty of fighting, plenty of romance, and plenty of surprises. Coming out July 10, 2018.

The Spy and I by Tiana Smith Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smart, sexy, and spies! What more do you want from a book? Seriously, I absolutely loved it. Dove Barkley is a cyber security specialist (aka penetration tester) who is mistaken for her super spy sister! She teams up with a hot CIA operative named Mendez to clear her sister's name. I loved all the spy details. If you liked the TV show "Chuck" and/or "Mission Impossible" film series you will devour this book! The romance is a longing, slow burn, where Dove isn't sure what is real and what's not. Steamy kisses, but no bedroom scenes. The action and fighting is exciting. Review: A Golden Fury by Samantha Cohoe

A GOLDEN FURY by Samantha Cohoe Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A perfect read like for fans of Addie Thorley’s AN AFFAIR OF POISONS. Thea and her mother are alchemists, but just before they’ve completed the philosopher’s stone her mother locked her out of their lab and went mad. Thea is sent back to England to a father who doesn’t know she exists and only her notes and her letters from Will. Both her father and Will want her knowledge, but who can she trust? And is the stone cursed? Thea is a passionate and intelligent heroine that is sure to appeal to modern readers. She is naive at times, but her heart is always in the right place. The setting is as explosive as the alchemy; beginning in Revolutionary France and then to England on the brink of war. I loved the references to Mary Wollstonecraft’s VINDICATION OF THE RIGHTS OF WOMEN. There’s a strong feminist streak that I adored.
